White, round pill with k9 marking is an anticonvulsant and antiepileptic medication containing Clonazepam 2 mg.

K9 pill is a Dispersible pill used in the treatment of epilepsy, involuntary muscle spasms, panic disorder and sometimes restless legs syndrome.

  • K9 pill acts by increasing levels of a calming chemical in your brain. This can be used to relieve anxiety, stop seizures and fits or relax tense muscles.
  • The most common side effect of k9 pill is drowsiness during the daytime.
  • K9 pill is not likely to be addictive if you take it for a short duration i.e. 2 to 4 weeks.
  • If you are prescribed k19 pill for more than 2 to 4 weeks, in such case withdrawal plan should be made by the doctor to stop this medicine.

If you get these side effects, keep taking the k9 pill and speak to a doctor if they bother you or do not go away:

  • muscle weakness

Serious side effects

It happens rarely, but some people can have serious side effects when taking k9 pill.

Use of k9 pill in pregnancy and breastfeeding

It is not recommended to use k9 pill in pregnancy. There’s not enough information to know if k19 pill is safe, and it might mean your baby is born with withdrawal side effects.

They can increase the drowsy effects of k9 pill and may also have other side effects.
